History

The International Conference on Mechatronics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence 2025 (MRAI 2025) was successfully held on 19-21 June 2025 in Jinan, Shandong Province, China. The conference was guided by Shandong Association of Science and Technology, hosted by University of Jinan, and organised by the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering of University of Jinan, with the support of Nankai University, Shandong University of Architecture, Ocean University of China, and University of Salamanca, Spain, as well as technical support from the IEEE SMC Society, etc. MRAI 2025 gathered a lot of participants from University of Jinan, Nankai University, Shandong University of Architecture, Ocean University of China, University of Winnipeg, etc. MRAI 2025 gathered scholars from University of Jinan, Nankai University, Shandong University of Architecture, Ocean University of China, University of Winnipeg and other domestic and international universities to exchange cutting-edge research results.

The conference was opened by Prof. Yan Mei, Director of Science and Technology Department of University of Jinan, and Prof Huang Gadong, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of University of Jinan, delivered an opening speech for the conference. Afterwards, the chairman of the conference, Dean Shen Tao, dean of the School of Automation and Electrical Engineering of Jinan University, formally opened the conference and warmly welcomed the arrival of experts and scholars on behalf of the conference.

We're honoured to have invited 12 top scholars to discuss the theme of ‘Mechatronics, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence’ in a multi-dimensional and in-depth manner.

At the same time, the conference was also carried out in the afternoon oral report sub-forum, from Northeastern University, Shenyang University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nankai University, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Qingdao University of Science and Technology and other domestic and foreign colleges and universities a total of 26 scholars at the meeting to make an oral report, the atmosphere of academic exchanges is strong.

Before the end of the conference, the co-chairmen of the conference, Professor Sun Ning of Nankai University and Professor Zhang Menghua of University of Jinan awarded certificates to the winners of the excellent papers. At the end of the meeting, Professor Zhang Menghua of Jinan University made a closing summary at the meeting, looking forward to the experts attending the meeting to deepen the cooperation in the fields of scientific research, talent training, industrial application, etc., and jointly promote the development of intelligent science and technology.
